Lenovo Launches The Powerful And Stylish Yoga Chromebook

Lenovo is no stranger to launching Chromebooks, the Chrome OS-powered notebooks that have become increasingly popular over the past few years. The company today announced the launch of a premium Chromebook at IFA 2018 in Berlin. It’s called the Lenovo Yoga Chromebook and it packs powerful specs in a stylish body.

The Yoga Chromebook can be configured with up to 4K resolution 15.6 inch display in addition to the 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U Kaby Lake processor. Additional specs include 8GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and Intel Graphics 620.

Measuring 14.23” x 9.8” x 0.7”, this premium Chromebook weighs 4.2lbs and includes a stereo speaker, two USB Type-C and one USB 3.1 ports as well as a 56WHr battery capable of lasting up to ten hours on a single charge. All of this is packed inside an aluminum body which isn’t something that a lot of Chromebooks have.

It’s going to have support for the Google Play Store out of the box so it’s going to be possible to run Android apps on this Chromebook. All customers will also receive 100GB of free Google Drive storage.

Lenovo has confirmed at IFA 2018 that the new Yoga Chromebook will be available in the EMEA region from October. Prices for the device start at €799. The company will confirm pricing and availability for other markets at a later date.
