In addition to its high-end Lenovo Yoga Chromebook, the company has launched a couple of affordable Chromebooks as well for the budget conscious customer. The Lenovo Yoga Chromebook C330 & S330 are the two new models which will cater to this important segment of the market, one where Chromebooks have historically done well.
The Lenovo Chromebook C330 can be had with a 10-point touchscreen IPS display which can provide easy viewing in tent, tablet, stand, or laptop mode. It has a 2.1GHz MediaTek 8173C processor under the hood with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC storage.
The company promises up to ten hours of battery life on a single change. It will be available for purchase in the EMEA region in November with prices starting at €349.
Lenovo’s Yoga Chromebook S330 is the entry-level option. It can be configured with a 14-inch HD display, 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC storage. Its battery is also said to be good for up to ten hours on a single change. It’s also going to be available in the same region from November with prices starting at €279.
Both of these affordable Chromebooks have support for Android apps so customers will be able to access the Google Play Store on these devices in order to run a wide variety of apps.
