The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be officially announced on the 9th of August which is just a couple of days away. However it seems that when the announcement does come around, there will be little to no surprise left because thanks to a new series of images obtained by WinFuture.de, more details about the S Pen have been revealed.

There have been rumors that the S Pen on the Note 9 will be upgraded with new features and functionality, and this much was hinted at in an official intro video that was leaked last week. However these images basically confirm that in which it reveals that the new S Pen will be Bluetooth enabled that lets users use the S Pens as a remote of sorts.

Some examples Samsung gave include how pressing the button lets you control the camera’s shutter button remotely, launch apps, and make presentations. They also boast about the S Pen’s fine tip which contains 4096 pressure levels that will make it feel as if you were writing with a pen and paper.

The S Pen has always been defining feature of the Galaxy Note series, and it’s nice to see that after all these years Samsung has breathed new life into it. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but do check back with us this Thursday for the official details.
