Fujifilm X-T3 Rumored To Be Capable Of 20fps Continuous Shooting

Companies such as Sony have been making a name for themselves by launching mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors. It would stand to reason that the competition might want to do the same in order to stay competitive, something that Nikon is rumored to be doing. However Fujifilm on the other hand has chosen not to.

However the good news is that while Fujifilm might not be going the full-frame sensor route, it does not mean that they won’t be borrowing some features from Sony’s full-frame flagships. In a report from Fuji Rumors, they have heard that rumored X-T3 could offer up 20fps continuous shooting which will make it ideal for photographers shooting fast moving subject matter, such as sports or wildlife.

As Fuji Rumors points out, the Sony A9 offers 20fps shooting which means if this rumor is true, then the X-T3 will have at least one feature on par with the A9. As it stands the Fujifilm X-T2 is capable of achieving 11fps using a vertical booster grip, and 14fps if photographers opt to use the electronic shutter, neither of which come close to the 20fps that the X-T3 is rumored to  feature.

Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, and with the X-T3 rumored for a launch at Photokina 2018, we should find out more details in the coming months.
