However instead of a typewriter, Capcom has opted to go with a Bluetooth mechanical keyboard. It has been shaped like a typewriter with typewriter-style keys, and there is even a little dock where you can rest a smartphone or tablet because since this is Bluetooth, you should be able to use it with your mobile devices as well.
The keyboard will be using Cherry MX Blue switches which means that if you like tactile and clicky keyboards, then this will be the keyboard for you. Capcom is also claiming that they keyboard will have a battery life of about 5-7 days of continuous usage, and a standby time of 30-45 days. There is even a knob that simulates the paper feeding function, but when turned will allow users to scroll through their screen instead.
Unfortunately in terms of pricing, this is where it gets a bit ridiculous. The keyboard itself is said to be priced at 75,000 yen which is around $675. There is a Premium version which is priced at around $900 but it’s essentially the Collector’s Edition copy of the game along with the keyboard. More details can be found on Capcom’s website.
