It should be noted that these specs aren’t necessarily the real deal, instead according to Canon Watch, they claim that these are “suggested” specs, meaning that they are based on what could be reasonably expect from a camera manufacturer in this day and age. That being said in terms of specs, the suggested specs are suggesting that it could pack a 28MP full-frame sensor.
It could also potentially be using dual pixel auto-focusing, IBIS, 10fps continuous shooting, 4K video capture at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps, and it could be priced around $1,900. Does this sound familiar? If it does, it is because it does share some base similarities with Nikon’s recently announced Z6, which is the lower-end model of the two cameras that were announced, so assuming that the specs will be roughly the same, the price tag shouldn’t be too different either.
No word on whether Canon will launch one or two cameras or maybe more, but we’ll have to wait until the 4th of September which is when Canon is said to be making an official announcement.
