Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brawler is set for a release on the 7th of December. However if you can’t wait that long, then you might be interested to learn that during Gamescom, Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth have announced that Brawlhalla will be making its way onto both the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on the 6th of November.

For those unfamiliar, Brawlhalla is a 2D brawler game similar in concept  to Super Smash Bros. and other brawlers before it. The game actually launched on the PS4, PC, and Mac back in 2017, and now it looks like it will be making its way onto more platforms. It will be a free-to-play title meaning that players won’t have to pay to play the game.

The game will also use a rotating hero system where every week, players will be able to choose from six different heroes, but players have option of unlocking all the heroes by using in-game currency. There will also be Mammoth Coins bought using real money, which can then be used towards skins and taunts.

At the moment the game does not support cross-platform play, but the developer did mention a few months ago that it is being worked on, but when exactly it is expected to debut is anyone’s guess.
