There’s a lot of anticipation among Battlefield fans for the next addition to this popular series. It takes the baton from Battlefield 1 which was very well received. Some fans won’t like that a few features that were supposed to be available at launch have been delayed. They can add dragging teammates to cover on that list.
DICE, the developer of Battlefield V, confirmed a week ago that another interesting new feature won’t be available at launch. It won’t be possible to customize vehicles when the game is launched because this feature will be added to the title in a later update.
The same is now true for the ability to drag teammates to cover. The developer has actually been teasing this feature since Battlefield V was revealed. So fans really won’t like it when the ability to drag teammates to cover is not available at launch.
This feature wasn’t present in the closed alpha builds of the game which hinted that it may not be ready at launch. DICE’s David Sirland has confirmed that it’s still in development. Bullet penetration was also missing from the alpha but it will be in the open beta build.
Battlefield V is due to be released on October 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
