According to the report, not only will the 2018 iPhones support the Apple Pencil, but the report is also claiming that Apple will be bumping up the storage on the iPhone to support a maximum of 512GB. If this sounds familiar, it is because Samsung has already done that with the Galaxy Note 9 which not only supports a stylus, but also launched with 512GB of storage.
Given that we’re seeing an increase in megapixels on our cameras and support for 4K video, it means that more storage is necessary and 512GB does seem like a safe bet. We’re not sure if this will be offered alongside the 256GB model which is currently the largest storage Apple offers, or if it will replace the 256GB model.
Also we have to wonder what this could mean for the base storage which is set at 64GB. Will Apple be bumping that up or will the 64GB base option be kept around? Either way take it with a grain of salt, but check back with us next month where Apple is expected to announce their new iPhones.
