With that being said, the question is will the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate feature a demo as well? Unfortunately it seems that the jury is still out on that one. Speaking to IGN in an interview during the San Diego Comic-Con, Nintendo’s Bill Trinen seemed to suggest that the company had yet to make a decision on whether or not that will be happening.
When asked about the possibility of a demo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Trinen was quoted as saying, “Very good question. Right now they’re focused very much on getting the game ready. We have a few other things to talk about down the road between now and when it launches in December. We’ll hopefully have some news on that as we get closer to launch.”
He also addressed the topic of DLCs and whether or not the game would have them. However once again it seems that no decision has yet to be made on that, and that according to Trinen, Nintendo is focused on finishing the game for now before deciding whether or not they want to proceed with DLCs.
