Photographers are probably more than familiar with the company Peak Design. For those who aren’t familiar, Peak Design has created quite a few camera-related backpacks and messenger bags, along with a bunch of camera accessories such as clips, straps, and so on. Now it looks like they are back with their latest offering dubbed The Travel Line.
However unlike Peak Design’s previous crowdfunding efforts like the Everyday Messenger or Everyday Backpack, The Travel Line is more than just a bag. There will of course be a bag, but it will also consist of what Peak Design is calling “Packing Tools” which are a series of modular compartments that will help you pack your bag in a neater and more organized manner.
These Packing Tools will vary in terms of what they can hold, for example there will be a Packing Tool designed for your camera equipment where they can be separated and protected by dividers. There will also be a pouch designed to hold your tech accessories, such as hard drives, cables, chargers, and so on, along with pouches for toiletries and more.
The backpack itself will be a 45L backpack that can be expanded or compressed depending on your needs. It will also feature side access similar to the Everyday Backpack, carry straps that are hidden to prevent unsightly dangly strings, a stowable waist belt, weatherproof construction, and a 400d shell made from recycled plastics.
The backpack itself is priced at $235 but if you want all the bells and whistles, it will be priced starting at $399 and will go up to $459.
