Nerf guns are fun and if you’re a fan of them and also a fan of Blizzard’s overwatch, then you’ll be very pleased and excited to learn that Hasbro has unveiled an official Overwatch Nerf blaster. As you can see in the image above, for those who play and are familiar with the game, this Nerf blaster has been themed around Reaper’s own guns.
We imagine that fans of the game will probably want to pick up a pair of these to make it more “accurate”, plus we imagine it would make for some great cosplay. Dubbed the Nerf Rival Overwatch Reaper Wight Edition, unfortunately there will be a bit of waiting because this particular Nerf blaster is only set for a release in 2019.
No word on pricing just yet but imagine that it shouldn’t stray too far from the other Nerf offerings, or worst case scenario it might be priced a bit higher due to the official partnership with Blizzard, but we will have to wait and see. However what’s even more exciting about this launch are the implications behind it.
Presumably this partnership will extend beyond just Reaper, and we wouldn’t be surprised if there were more Nerf blasters released in the future for other Overwatch characters, but either way we’ll have to wait and see.
