According to EA, “There will be several more tests of Battlefield V – internal and external – before the October launch, and we will be using our learnings from the first Alpha to test further and fine-tune the experience.
There will be a new build of Battlefield V at Gamescom, too, and then there is the Open Beta in early September to look forward to. Thanks again for helping us make Battlefield V the best it can be.”
The company does not state when exactly in September the open beta will be kicking off, but that’s the timeframe that we have at the moment.
In the post on its website, they also talked about how the closed alpha testing went, and also talked about some of the areas that might need some tweaking and balancing, as well as what they have learned from players who took part in it.
Battlefield V is expected to be available on the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC and it was just a couple of months ago that the game’s minimum PC requirements were published.
