Telltale Games has released a new trailer for the upcoming season of its episodic The Walking Dead game ahead of the E3 2018 gaming convention. The upcoming season is also the last in this four-part series that’s based on the popular comic book franchise. Telltale has confirmed when The Walking Dead: The Final Season is going to be released, it will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will arrive on the Nintendo Switch as well but when the game is released on the platform later this year.
The Walking Dead game series has been following the story of Clementine and the upcoming season is going to bring her story to an end.
“After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home,” Telltale Games explains, adding that protecting the school will mean sacrifice for the protagonist.
The protagonist will have to build a life and become a leader all while watching over an orphaned boy who is the closest thing to a family that she has left. Players will thus be able to determine who Clementine’s story ends.
Walking Dead: The Final Season is going to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 14th.
