However according to a report from SamMobile, the good news is that it looks like the Galaxy A6 could soon be finding their way stateside. There have been rumors suggesting that the phones could launch on AT&T, but SamMobile is now reporting that Sprint will be the carrier that will be offering the handset. This doesn’t mean the AT&T rumors are true, but for now Sprint seems to be the carrier that has been named.
No word on when the phones will be available, but given that they have already been launched we guess it’s only a matter of time. However it should be noted that the report seems to only mention the Galaxy A6 which means that the Galaxy A6+ might not see a release stateside, but this is something we’ll have to wait and see.
In terms of specs, in case you’ve forgotten the Galaxy A6 will feature a 5.6-inch 720p HD display. We’re also looking at a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 16MP rear-facing camera with a f/1.7 aperture. There is also Bixby Vision, Samsung Pay, Dolby Atmos optimized audio, along with a 3,000mAh battery with Android 8.0 Oreo running the show.
