Ahead of E3 2018, Nintendo actually announced some new Pokemon games in the form of the new Pokemon: Let’s Go series. Nintendo also announced that there would be an accessory for gamers in the form of the Poke Ball Plus which would also double up as a controller for the game.
Now it seems that Nintendo is really hoping gamers will pick up the accessory because at E3 2018, Nintendo confirmed the pricing of the accessory which is set at $50, but to sweeten the deal they have also announced that it will include a rare Pokemon in the form of Mew. This means that players will be able to have access to Mew pretty much right off the bat.
For those unfamiliar, the Poke Ball Plus is an accessory that has been designed to look like a Poke Ball. Players can use it to walk around in the game, but at the same time they can also use it to catch Pokemon by mimicking the throwing action, thus making the overall experience feel more “authentic”. The accessory will also be able to light up and vibrate like it does in the game.
It will be usable with Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, both of which are currently set for a release later this year.
