Parrot is a company that has made their fair share of drones in the past, so the company does have some experience on that front. With the Anafi, Parrot is promising a drone that is compact and that can also be folded, meaning that bringing it with you on trips shouldn’t be too troublesome as you could in theory slip it into a bag.
The drone will also come with a camera attached to it. This will allow it to capture photos and videos, such as 4K video of up to 30fps, but if you wanted something smoother, dropping it down to 1080p will allow users to capture footage at 60fps. It will pack a 21MP sensor, a 180-degree tilt gimbal, and zoom of up to three times. There is also body recognition technology which means that the drone can track users as they move.
According to Parrot, the Anafi will boast a flight time of 25 minutes on a single charge, but the good news is that the battery can be removed which means that you’ll be able to slot in a new one and keep on flying. As for pricing, we’re looking at $700 for the drone and $99 for an extra battery, and is expected to be made available come 1st of July.
