Team17, the company best known for the Worm series of games, has announced the launch of its next game, Overcooked 2. For those unfamiliar, Overcooked is a game that was released back in 2016. It is a cooking game that focuses on teamwork where players will have to work together to complete orders in challenging situations.
For those who have successfully completed every stage and gotten 3 stars for it and are looking for more content, you’ll be pleased to learn that Overcooked 2 has since been officially announced. Rumors of Overcooked 2 were hinted at earlier this month in a leak that revealed Nintendo’s E3 plans, and it looks like those rumors have since been proven true.
Overcooked 2 will be more or less the same in terms of gameplay as its predecessor. There will of course be brand new obstacles and challenges that players will have to overcome, and also new recipes that they’ll have to cook. There are also new characters that players can choose from.
Interestingly enough Overcooked 2 will also feature support for online multiplayer, meaning that players will be able to find other players to play with. It will continue to support local multiplayer. The game will be released on the 7th of August, 2018 where it will launch on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and the PC via Steam.
