Lenovo launched its Yoga Book convertible laptop back in 2016. It was an interesting machine as it swapped out the conventional keyboard for a touch-sensitive surface that could not only work as a keyboard but allow users to take notes on its surface using the Real Pen. Some evidence has now surfaced to suggest that there’s may be a new Yoga Book in the pipeline over at Lenovo.
Regulatory filings spotted at the Bluetooth SIG reveal that Lenovo has two new products in the pipeline, the Lenovo Pen Pro and the YogaBook 2 Pro. The monikers are a big indication that these new products are the successors to their 2016 versions.
It’s unclear as yet what the specifications of this new Yoga Book will be. The original Yoga Book featured a 10.1 inch FHD resolution display with an Intel Atom X5-Z8550 processor coupled with 64GB of storage and an 8,500mAh battery. The company offered Android-powered and Windows 10-powered iterations of the notebook.
We were quite impressed with the original Yoga Book. In our review, we mentioned that it was highly innovative and productive while also pushing the boundaries of industrial design and usability.
Fans of the original Yoga Book will no doubt be interested in seeing how Lenovo improves upon the device. The company itself hasn’t confirmed anything about a new Yoga Book at this point in time.
