Lenovo Teases Yoga Book 2, Launching Later This Year
It was reported last week that Lenovo may have a new Yoga Book in the pipeline. It launched the original convertible laptop back in 2016 so the company is certainly due to launch a successor. Lenovo hasn’t revealed everything about the new device just yet but it did tease the Yoga Book 2 during Intel’s e21FORUM keynote presentation at Computex 2018.
The original Lenovo Yoga Book had a 10.1 inch FHD display and an Intel Atom X5-Z8550 processor with 64GB of storage and 8,500mAh battery. It was available in both Android-powered and Windows-powered versions.
It didn’t have a conventional keyboard because Lenovo opted for a touch-sensitive surface instead. Not only did it double as a keyboard, the surface could also be used to take notes with the Real Pen.
Lenovo gave a sneak peek at the Yoga Book 2 during Intel’s keynote presentation at Computex 2018. The company confirmed that the device is going to retain its ultra-thin and light qualities while adopting faster Intel processors. A more accurate inking experience has also been promised.
The company has also said that the Yoga Book 2 will feature “dual display panels,” but it hasn’t clarified if that means that the lower panel will be all-screen as well. Lenovo didn’t confirm the specifics and hasn’t revealed when this device will be released, only that it will be launched later this year.
