Hot Wheels Unveils ‘Zoom In’ Toy Car With A GoPro Mount

Have you ever wondered what it looks like from a Hot Wheels perspective? If you’ve ever been curious, then you might be interested to learn that Mattel has unveiled a new Hot Wheels car (if you can call it that) called “Zoom In” that actually comes with a mount designed to fit a GoPro action camera.

Now this particular Hot Wheels car isn’t really shaped to look like anything and seems to be more of a mount/carrier for your GoPro camera. It is designed to be used with the Hot Wheels tracks so if you have any of those lying around and a GoPro camera, then you should be able to mount them just fine and capture some pretty interesting footage.

However we should point out that the mount has been designed for use with the GoPro Hero Session or the Hero 5 Session, both of which have been discontinued. We’re not sure why Mattel would choose to support either of these cameras where there are newer models, but it does make it a bit limited unless you happen to already own either device.

The Hot Wheels Zoom In is expected to be made available later this month where it will be priced at $1.09, which as The Verge points out possibly makes it the cheapest GoPro mount on the market today.
