Samsung is due to launch the Galaxy Note 9 in a couple of months. Whenever the company launches a new phablet it makes some improvements to the S Pen as well. However, if word on the street is believed, the Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen might bring the “biggest update in the history” of this stylus. This according to a Chinese leakster with a somewhat solid track record.

Another report reiterates the claim made by the leakster and even mentions some of the major new features that will be included in the Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen. The report claims that the S Pen will get Bluetooth support and will have a speaker and microphone so that users can make and receive calls with the stylus.

This will free them from holding up the device when they have to make a call and they can just use the S Pen instead. It even mentions that the S Pen might have a feature that will let users write on a physical paper to have the characters then appear on the device’s screen.

Just how much of this information is accurate remains to be seen, though. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 9 in August. Other improvements for the device include an updated camera, power package, and possibly a larger battery as well.
