Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series has found its way across multiple Nintendo platforms in the past, and more recently it also found its way onto mobile. For those who were hoping to see a new Fire Emblem title on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll be pleased to learn that will be happening as Nintendo has since announced Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
According to Nintendo’s announcement, “A brand-new Fire Emblem game with a new story and characters is coming to Nintendo Switch. The Fire Emblem: Three Houses game takes place on Fódlan, where the Church of Seiros exercises great power over the land and its people. This turn-based tactical RPG will put new strategic twists on battling, with formations of troops supporting individual units on the battlefield.”
Basically it sounds like the game will be pretty much the same Fire Emblem that many gamers have come to know and love over the years. Unfortunately gamers who are looking forward to getting their hands on the game will have quite a bit of waiting to do. This is because Nintendo will only be launching in the spring of 2019 which means that there’s about a year left of waiting. Until then we guess the game trailer above will have to make do.
