Bethesda’s mobile game Fallout Shelter has been out for a while now and while it might have been limited to mobile at the start, the game eventually found its way to other platforms, such as the Xbox One and Windows PCs. The good news is that it now looks like Fallout Shelter will be on pretty much every platform out there as the PS4 and Nintendo Switch version has been announced.
The version on the Nintendo Switch will support both the console’s touchscreen and also the Joy-Cons, so gamers will have some options when it comes to choosing how they want to play it. It will be free-to-play. The gameplay will be identical as those that were previously launched, so don’t expect to see anything new.
Fallout Shelter proved to be a huge success on mobile where it is said that players have managed to log as many as 29 million hours within the first month alone. However admittedly the game is a bit old by now and it probably isn’t quite as exciting compared to when it first launched, but if you enjoyed the game or if you’ve yet to check it out, Fallout Shelter is expected to be available for download for both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch today.
