However the only problem is that the web player only allowed previews to be played, but the good news is that has changed. In a post on Reddit (via 9to5Mac) by user fani123q, they discovered that the interface for the web player has been updated where it will now include a sign-in option.
“Ok so sometimes I use the Apple Music tools website to search a playlist that isn’t available in search (like some playlist of Skam or Norwegian rap). But this time I noticed that the player design changed a bit and after listening to a song (preview mode of 30s) I got the message asking me to log in Apple Music.”
Upon signing in and assuming you have an active Apple Music subscription, it will let users play full-length songs and albums from the web player itself. This might come in handy if you’re on a computer that doesn’t have iTunes but you want to access Apple Music. The changes are already live so if you’re someone who uses Apple Music, it could be worth taking a look at.
