After multiple reports, it was confirmed last month that Amazon would provide Prime members with a 10 percent discount while shopping at Whole Foods. They will also get “deep discounts” on select best-selling items. These perks were only offered to Amazon Prime members living in Florida initially and the company didn’t say how soon it would expand these perks to members across the United States. It turns out, Amazon needed a month to do that as it’s now offering Prime Members discounts at Whole Foods outlets across the country.
Those who subscribe to Amazon Prime will now receive a 10 percent discount on select sale items as well as other discounts at Whole Foods stores across the United States. The perk will go in effect on June 27th.
Customers can take advantage of the perk by signing into the Whole Foods app with their Amazon account and then scanning the app’s Prime Code when they check out at a physical store. They can also enter their mobile number when checking out to verify their Prime membership.
Items in Whole Foods stores that are eligible for these discounts will have yellow stickers indicating that they’re 10 percent off for Prime members. Blue stickers will identify other deals available for Prime members.
