According to a tweet by WA Beta Info, the time limit has been increased to 1 day 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds. Like we said previously it was one day so the increase is by a little over an hour. Interestingly enough the increase is the same time limit that the sender of the message gets to delete the message.
News about the max revoke limit.
1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds available to delete a message for everyone (like before).
1 day to receive the revoke request (OLD) -> 1 day, 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds to receive the revoke request (NEW)

If this sounds confusing, here’s what it means. When someone sends a message, they have 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds to delete it. The new time extension is aimed at the person who received it, where they now get 1 day 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds to receive the revoke request. This means that anytime after that, the message won’t be revoked.
We’re not sure why there is an extension, perhaps to take into account users who might be traveling and might not have internet to receive the request, but either way it’s something you might want to consider.
