PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will receive a big update tomorrow which Xbox One owners have certainly been looking forward to. Those who are playing this popular battle royale title on Xbox One will be delighted to find out that the Miramar map is finally coming to their preferred console. The desert map has already been released for PUBG Mobile and it has been in testing on the console for several weeks with players trying out different iterations of Miramar. PUBG Corp. will now be rolling out the desert map widely to games on the Xbox platform.
The May patch for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is going to be released at midnight PDT and it will finally bring the Miramar map to the Xbox platform. It also brings some performance improvements.
There’s a new “predictive-based loading system” which will optimize map loading and make it faster, thus reducing issues in which players land before the buildings have loaded thus causing them to get stuck on objects that haven’t even loaded. This system will become more effective in the future as more data is accumulated.
The latest PUBG update also brings some features that have already been available to players on the PC such as the emote system, improved scope rendering, and overall user interface tweaks. The full changelog of the PUBG update for Xbox One is available on the title’s website.
