While Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War continues to rule the box office, the studio has another superhero movie lined up for release later this year. It’s the sequel to the first Ant-Man movie. Marvel today released a new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp. The trailer introduces us to Ghost, the villain in this upcoming film.
Marvel had previously released a teaser for this movie back in January. Much like the first teaser, the new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer brings us a lot of shots of Ant-Man and his partner Wasp taking bad guys to task with their ability to shrink at the touch of a button.
Ant-Man is portrayed by Paul Rudd while Evangeline Lilly has taken on the role of the Wasp. You’ll also recognize many characters from the original Ant-Man movie including Hank Pym who’s played by the indomitable Michael Douglas and Luis who’s portrayed by Michael Peña.
Ardent Marvel fans will probably notice that the movie is set before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. It also appears to push the plot forward which involves a bid to save Hank Pym’s wife Janet Van Dyne who is known as the original Wasp from “the quantum realm,” as per Luis in the trailer.
