LG G7 ThinQ Global Rollout Begins Today

LG unveiled the LG G7 ThinQ earlier this month. It’s the company’s new flagship smartphone that’s meant to take on the likes of the Galaxy S9. It certainly has the kind of specifications that would allow the handset to do just that. Whether or not the market likes it is another matter altogether. We shall find that out soon enough as LG has confirmed that the global rollout of the new LG G7 begins today.

LG is going to start the global rollout of the LG G7 this week in its home country of South Korea. The company has confirmed that key markets in Asia, Europe, the Americas will follow shortly thereafter.

The LG G7 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch 3120×1440 pixel resolution display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood and up to 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. It also features a Quad-DAC, 3,000mAh battery, Android 8.0 Oreo, and a variety of artificial intelligence-powered features.

It also happens to be the first smartphone on the market with a dedicated button for the Google Assistant much like the dedicated Bixby key on Samsung’s Galaxy flagships. It provides quick and easy access to Google Assistant and Google Lens.

Expect the LG G7 ThinQ to go on sale in major markets across the globe in the coming weeks. Pricing and availability information will be announced locally by the company’s regional divisions.
