According to Apple’s announcement, the HomePod is slated to be released in Canada, France, and Germany come 18th of June which means that these customers only have a couple of weeks of waiting before they are able to get their hands on it. Pricing is unclear for those particular regions, but as it stands the HomePod is priced at $349 in the US.
Right now the HomePod is still limited in its availability where it is only sold in the US, the UK, and Australia. The expansion to Canada, France, and Germany brings the total number of countries the smart speaker is available in to six, although we had previously heard that Apple could also be getting it ready for a launch in Japan, but this particular announcement has skipped on those details.
Apple also announced the release of iOS 11.4 which will bring about AirPlay 2, meaning that HomePod users will be able to link up multiple units of the speakers together for multi-room audio.
