Now in an update to Google WiFi, Google has announced a new feature for it in the form of Network Check. This feature will let users test the connectivity of each individual device that is on their network, and from there they will be able to see which device is performing poorly, in which they can then try to reposition Google WiFi to ensure a more even coverage.
According to Google, “In the past month alone, we saw an average of 18 connected devices on each Google Wifi network, globally. With so many devices on your network, we want to make sure you have a way to know each device has the best connection possible, and that your home Wi-Fi is doing its job.”
The new feature is expected to be made available in the coming weeks to all Google WiFi users around the world, so do keep an eye out for it if this sounds like something you might be interested in.
