Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be launching this year and it seems that the publisher is particularly optimistic about their upcoming game. Speaking during Activision Blizzard’s financial conference call, Chief Operating Officer Coddy Johnson expressed his optimism about the game.
According to Johnson, he claims that it will be an “awesome” game and will give the community an “incredible experience”. Johnson’s comments are based on how Black Ops is the most played franchise from Call of Duty to date, plus there are also three different Black Ops titles that Treyarch have developed in the past, meaning that the developer has definitely learnt over time what players like and do not like, which should hopefully result in the best version of Black Ops to date.
Johnson also claims that there will be a number of “new exciting developments” that will be rolling out soon, and that Activision has invested a significant amount of resources to ensure that the PC version will be able deliver on the hype. Of course all of this could just be Johnson trying to boost the confidence of investors, but we suppose we’ll have to wait until the 17th of May which is when Black Ops 4 is expected to be officially revealed in full.
