According to the listings on several international retailers, it appears that Activision could be preparing a version of the game called the “Specialist Edition”. This seems like a collector’s edition of sorts and will feature a copy of the game, a 5-inch statue, a custom steel case, and 1,100 Call of Duty points along with bonus digital items. They will also be given access to the private beta if they were to pre-order it.
At the moment it seems neither the statue or the steel case has been revealed, presumably as it will be revealed at a later date, that is unless the image above is what it’s supposed to look like. Also it only lists both the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game, which means that players who want a physical copy of the PC version are out of luck.
In terms of pricing, the version listed on EB Games Australia has it priced at AUD$120, which when converted is roughly $90, but it is unclear if the US version will be priced the same way as well, so we guess we’ll just have to wait for an official launch in the US.
