Fans of HBO’s hit sitcom Silicon Valley will be happy to know that the network has decided to renew the series for a sixth season. The fifth season is currently being aired and clearly there’s more to the story that’s yet to come. Without revealing any major hints about what’s to come, HBO has confirmed that there’s going to be a sixth season of Silicon Valley.
For those who are unaware, Silicon Valley tells the story about the rise of a tech startup called Pied Piper and all of the hurdles that it has to face along the way to get where it wants to be.
The current season of Silicon Valley is also its first one without T.J. Miller, a member of the original cast who played Erlich Bachman on the show since the first season. Miller’s character has been written off of the show and won’t be returning for subsequent seasons as well.
The show follows a group of five programmers who create Pied Piper in Silicon Valley. The comedy has been very well received over the past few years so fans will certainly be delighted that there’s more to come. Don’t expect HBO to reveal much about the plot of the sixth season any time soon, though.
