Last month the folks at Square Enix announced the next installment in the Tomb Raider series called Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Now more details about the upcoming game have been revealed such as the various special editions of the game that players can buy, along with the season pass.
Now in terms of the various editions of the game offered, there will obviously be the standard version of the game, but if you’re willing to fork out a bit more money, there will be the digital deluxe version of the game which will give players 48 hours early access to the game, additional skills booster pack, the game’s soundtrack, and an additional weapon/outfit.
For those willing to go one step further, there will also be the Croft Edition which gives gamers everything that the digital deluxe version has, along with more weapons and outfits. It will also include the game’s season pass which includes 7 challenge tombs, 7 weapons, outfits, and skills that are part of the season pass, and several narrative side missions.
Last but not least there will also be the Ultimate Edition which contains everything from the Croft Edition, along with some physical goodies like a statue of Lara Croft, a bottle opener shaped like a pickaxe, and a Tomb Raider style flashlight. Pricing of the various versions of the game have yet to be confirmed but pre-orders will be going live soon with the game expected to be launched on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on the 14th of September.
