Misfit Path Hybrid Smartwatch Now Available For Purchase

Misfit, a company best known for its low-power activity trackers and hybrid smartwatches, unveiled its smallest hybrid smartwatch yet at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 earlier this year in January. The Misfit Path has a 38mm case that houses a conventional watch with smart features such as activity tracking and movement reminders. Customers who were interested in this product can now purchase it starting today.

The Misfit Path pairs to smartphones over Bluetooth but it doesn’t feature a touchscreen. It allows users to track steps, calories burned, sleep, and the distance that they have walked throughout the day. All of the data is synced to Misfit’s mobile app.

The companion app can be used to customize the watch’s vibrations so users get different vibrating notifications for calls, texts, and app notifications. The device doesn’t have a built-in heart rate sensor, though. The Path is water-resistant up to 50 meters and it’s powered by a replaceable coin battery that can last up to six months.

Misfit is selling the Path through its website for $149.99. It’s available in stainless steel, rose gold, and gold colors as well as a stainless steel finish that has gold accents. It offers basic smart features but they will be enough for those who don’t want a full-fledged smartwatch or an activity tracker.
