More information about the next OnePlus flagship smartphone is gradually trickling in. It appears that the company might launch its first wireless earbuds with the OnePlus 6 in the coming weeks. A listing for the OnePlus Bullets Wireless earbuds has been spotted at the Bluetooth certification website which suggests that this product is in the pipeline. Since OnePlus has already launched two pairs of wired earbuds called Bullets, it won’t be surprising to see that it may use the same moniker for its wireless earbuds as well.
What the listing doesn’t reveal is that whether the OnePlus Bullets Wireless earbuds will be completely wireless or if they will have a wire that will wrap around the user’s neck.
OnePlus fans don’t need to worry about not having a 3.5mm headphone jack on the OnePlus 6 just because the company seems to have developed wireless earbuds. It has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 is going to have a 3.5mm headphone jack so it won’t be absolutely necessary for them to use wireless earbuds.
It will also be interesting to see how much OnePlus charges for these earbuds. The existing Bullets earbuds cost $20 and are actually quite good despite their cheap price point. OnePlus has a penchant for aggressively pricing its products so one can reasonably expect the company to try and undercut other wireless earbuds on price.
