That’s what Rosenblatt analyst Jun Zhang seems to suggest, according to a note to investors obtained by the folks at AppleInsider. In the note, Zhang makes reference to the three upcoming iPhone models that Apple is expected to launch this year. One is apparently codenamed “Jaguar” which refers to the LCD iPhone, while “Porsche” is the designated codename for the 5.8-inch OLED model, and “Rolls-Royce” is the name for the rumored 6.5-inch OLED iPhone.
According to Zhang, apart from the larger display, the “Rolls-Royce” is also rumored to support the “iPen”. We’re not sure if the “iPen” is going to be a new accessory for the iPhone, or if Zhang could simply be referring to stylus support in general, or to be more specific support for the Apple Pencil.
There have been rumors indicating that the Apple Pencil could eventually be supported by the iPhone so this isn’t the first time we’re hearing about it. Needless to say this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Is an iPhone with Apple Pencil support something you’d like to see?
