Microsoft is developing the next major update for Windows 10 and the company now revealed when we can expect it to arrive. The Windows 10 Spring Creators Update, yes that’s what it’s going to be called, is due for release next month according to Microsoft. The company is yet to officially reveal the next major update’s name, though, but reports have already suggested that it’s going to be called the Spring Creators Update.
Microsoft has updated the overview page for Windows 10 which mentions the April release date for the upcoming software update and also reveals its plans to support the OS version until October next year.
The Windows 10 Spring Creators Update is going to be finalized by the company before the end of next week. It typically takes a few more weeks for the update to be released once it’s gone through that step hence the April release date for this update.
It’s going to bring several new features including but not limited to HDR support, Timeline, and design improvements. Microsoft is already hard at work testing the update that’s going to arrive after the Spring Creators Update. It’s codenamed Redstone 5 and it’s unclear at this point in time what new features it’s going to bring to the table.
Microsoft is yet to provide a precise release date for the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update but now we know that it’s going to be out in the coming months.
