Verizon is reportedly going to launch a couple of affordable Samsung devices in the near future. The new devices are said to be called the Galaxy J7 Aero and the Galaxy J3 Eclipse 2. Enough circumstantial evidence has surfaced over the past two weeks to suggest that these affordable devices could be coming out in the not too distant future.
The model number SM-J737 has already been spotted multiple times online. It revealed in a benchmark listing the specs which will likely include an Exynos 7885 octacore processor with 2GB of RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo.
The SM-J737V is the Verizon-branded version of this device, claims prolific Twitter leakster @evleaks, and it’s going to be called the Galaxy J7 Aero. The moniker was recently trademarked by Samsung in the United States as well.
The SM-J337 has also been spotted in benchmark listings where it revealed an Exynos 7570 processor with 2GB of RAM as well as Android 8.0 Oreo. One can expect all of the new handsets that Samsung launches this year to come with Oreo out of the box. SM-J337V is said to be headed to Verizon as the Galaxy J3 Eclipse 2.
What @evleaks didn’t say is precisely when these devices will be coming to Verizon and how much they’re going to cost. However, we may not have to wait for long to find out that information.
