Sony and Microsoft have a habit of launching bundles for their consoles whenever major titles are up for release which is why it’s not surprising to see that Sony has introduced a limited edition God of War PlayStation 4 Pro bundle today. The console in this bundle has a Leviathan Gray finish that’s inspired by Kratos’ axe.
The Limited Edition God of War PlayStation 4 Pro bundle is going to be launched alongside the new God of War title on April 20th, 2018. The console has a finish that’s inspired by Kratos’ axe and comes with a DualShock 4 controller that has the game’s insignia. The bundle also comes with a physical copy of God of War and digital content.
This limited edition console was designed in close collaboration with Santa Monica Studio with an aim to bring Kratos’ Leviathan Axe to life. “We spent a painstaking amount of time to ensure this PS4 Pro was special, for the special fans who will cherish it,” said studio head Shannon Studstill.
The top surface depicts the Axe skill tree that players will use in-game to upgrade their axe. The side panels have a beautiful Norse design with the runes representing a realm each in the game. The Huldra Brothers brand can be found on the controller with a subtle God of War logo on the touchpad.
The Limited Edition God of War PlayStation 4 Pro bundle will be released on April 20th for $399.99. It’s available for pre-order starting today.
