Fans of the Luke Cage series on Netflix will be happy to find out that the online streaming giant has posted a new teaser of the show’s upcoming season which reveals when Luke Cage season 2 is going to be released. This is information that many fans have been anxiously looking forward to so they will be pleased that Netflix has finally come out and confirmed when they will be able to bingewatch this show.
Netflix has posted a new teaser clip online today which confirms that season 2 of Luke Cage is going to be released on June 22nd. In true Netflix fashion, all episodes of the new season will be released on the very same day.
The teaser doesn’t give much away about the story of the new season itself but it does show that the stakes are higher now for Cage. He’s regarded as a hero now but that also means having a target on his back at all times. He’ll be up against a “formidable new foe” that will push him into contemplating going over the fine line between what makes someone a champion and a villain.
The first season of Luke Cage was very well received when it was released last year and fans have certainly been waiting for the new season to arrive. Whether or not it lives up to their expectations is another matter entirely.
