So much so that Adam Boyes, the CEO of Iron Galaxy, tweeted at Capcom and offered to help them port the game over to the Switch. For those unfamiliar, Iron Galaxy has some experience porting games onto the Switch. They are the company who helped to bring Bethesda’s Skyrim onto the Switch, so like we said, they do have some experience in that area.
Dear @monsterhunter team at Capcom – we understand that porting the game to Nintendo Switch is challenging (https://t.co/0JrAIQgcft) but this is exactly what @IToTheG does. Give us a shot & we won’t let you down ;)

Boyes acknowledges that this could be challenging, but it seems that his company is up for that challenge. Of course whether or not Capcom will take them up on that offer remains to be seen. As it stands, Monster Hunter XX is the only title from the franchise that is on the Switch. While there’s nothing wrong with the game, given the popularity of Monster Hunter World, we’re sure that Switch gamers would love to get in on the action as well.
We suppose worst case scenario is that Capcom does not bring Monster Hunter World onto the Switch, but if it’s any consolation, Monster Hunter World is slated to arrive on the PC later this year, so gamers who don’t own a PS4 or Xbox One will still be able to enjoy the game.
