According to a report from MacRumors, they have heard from a source that Apple plans to return to the McEnery Convention Center for WWDC 2018. Apple hosted 2017’s conference at the venue, which is actually a change of pace as Apple has typically held their conferences at the Moscone Center between 2003 to 2016.
Following that tip-off, MacRumors then discovered that the venue had been booked out during the second, third, and fourth weeks of June, meaning that this leaves the first week of June free. This has led to speculation that WWDC 2018 might take place in the first week of June, assuming of course that someone else doesn’t book those dates first.
Of course all of this is conjecture at this point, but given that Apple typically holds WWDC in June, it would not be a stretch to think that the first week of June is a possibility. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info.
