Rocket League has been launched on the Switch several months ago, but according to the developers, there are plans to introduce an update to the game later this year where it will improve upon the game’s graphics. This upgrade will see the game’s resolution bumped to 900p when docked, and 720p when in handheld, and it will also run at 60fps.
This is quite an upgrade over the current situation where the game runs at 720p docked and 576p in handheld. This update is expected to come in April, so Rocket League gamers will want to keep an eye out for it. Note that the developers also recently confirmed that they will be upgrading the graphics on the Xbox One X version.
This update will bring about 4K but unfortunately Xbox One X gamers will need to wait until the end of the year for the update to arrive, whereas Switch owners will only need to wait for a couple of months.
