We’re just two weeks away from the launch of Samsung’s next-generation flagship smartphones. There’s a lot of hype surrounding these handsets and Samsung wants to fan it to get as much coverage as it possibly can for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. The company today released three official Galaxy S9 teasers on YouTube. The short 15 second clips highlight some potential new features of the handsets.
One of the features that the Galaxy S9 is rumored to have is the ability to capture enhanced slow-motion videos. That’s what the first official Galaxy S9 teaser seems to be suggesting in the video.
It’s easy to understand what the second teaser is all about. Multiple reports have claimed that the Galaxy S9 will come with significant camera improvements, including improvements in low-light performance.
The final teaser seems to be hyping up the rumored stereo speakers of the Galaxy S9. It’s believed to be the first flagship smartphone from Samsung to feature stereo speakers. It clearly hints at the upcoming 3D emoji feature as well which some reports claim to be more advanced than the iPhone X’s Animoji.
Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ officially on February 25th just before Mobile World Congress 2018 kicks off the following day in Barcelona. It’s expected to release the handset by the second week of March. Pricing and availability information will be confirmed at the event itself.
