HMD Global has seen considerable success with the Nokia-branded smartphones that it has been releasing and the company is showing no intention of slowing down. A new leak has revealed more information about a rumored device called the Nokia 7+. According to the new leak, which also brings us a press render of the device, the Nokia 7+ is going to have an 18:9 aspect ratio display and will be powered by Android One.
Nokia 7 was launched in October last year so it has only been a few months since that device has been on the market. However, these leaks show that a “Plus” version of this handset is now in the pipeline and may be launched in the near future.
It’s possible that HMD Global might unveil this handset at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona where several other manufacturers are also likely going to launch new smartphones.
The leaked render suggests that the Nokia 7+ will be jumping on the bezel-less bandwagon with its 18:9 aspect ratio display. It’s also expected to feature an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB of RAM.
No word as yet on what this device is going to cost and when it’s going to be available for purchase. Hopefully, HMD Global will provide this information before the end of this month at MWC 2018.
