There are many, even fans of the iPhone, who would consider the iPhone X’s notch a design flaw. This is something that Samsung also pointed out when they announced the Galaxy S9 and S9+, but despite many poking fun of the notch, it seems that there are quite a few Android OEMs who don’t particularly mind the design.
In a post on Israeli website Ynet (via Evan Blass), it seems that the LG G7 was shown off at MWC 2018 which is taking place this week. However it seems that this particular version of the LG G7 might not be the final version as Blass has speculated that this model could have been the one that LG decided to scrap in favor of another handset codenamed “Judy”.
This is interesting. Article/video from an Israeli journo at MWC showcasing the LG G7 (Neo). May be the device LG scrapped in favor of Judy. [h/t: @Hanan_haber]https://t.co/fNng7jw9As

Regardless of whether or not that is true, this leak has revealed that LG might be considering introducing a notch in the LG G7 which seems to go against some of the previous leaks that we’ve seen, so clearly this is best taken with a grain of salt. The LG G7 was expected to be launched at MWC 2018, but it was later suggested that LG had decided to go back to the drawing board, thus the phone’s launch was delayed.
However LG denied this and said that the LG G7’s launch was “on schedule”. Exactly when that is remains to be seen, but last we heard a launch in June could be in the cards.
