iOS 11.3 Will Reportedly Be Released Next Week

Apple has been working on the iOS 11.3 update which we know due to the various beta releases that have been made so far. However when the update will be released is anyone’s guess. However it seems that audio accessory maker Shure has suggested that the update could be released as early as next week.

This is according to a tweet by the company in which they said that the update would be addressing some issues that customers are having with their Shure iOS accessories. The tweet reads, “This is an issue that Apple introduced with the release of the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Fortunately, iOS 11.3, due out next week, resolves it. You can download the public beta now.”

Note that the tweet has since been deleted, which seems to suggest that maybe the tweet contained wrong information and was taken down, or that it contained information that Shure wasn’t supposed to share publicly yet. As 9to5Mac points out, it seems unlikely that Apple would have shared their release timeline with third-party companies, but perhaps this could have been an exception.

The update is expected to allow users to disable throttling on their iPhones and will also be introducing a Battery Health feature that lets users get a better idea of the status of their iPhone’s battery.
